Warid increases Missed Call Alert charges by 95%

Warid-Logo[1]Warid Telecommunications has declared adjustment of charging procedure and pricing for its Missed Call Alert service. According to the new process, Missed Call Alert charges will be Rs. 0.65 + tax per day and the charges for method will be in effect from May 8, 2013. Originally (and until before May 8), Missed Call Alerts were being billed at a rate per month of Rs. 10 + tax.

As verified from Warid’s Customer care Center, the per month payments plan will cease after May 8 and only everyday charges for method will be applicable.

This modify of payments method, though seems trivial, will allow the telecom owner to collect almost twice as much income as before. With Missed Call Alerts tactivated, members will now have to pay Rs. 19.5 + tax to the company for this Value Added Service.

It is quite distressing to see the company increasing charges improving for a value added service by 95 percent. The modify would not have been amazing if Warid had just improved the per month registration charges by some amount, but modifying the overall payments design from per month to everyday includes their paths. Normally the prospective subscriber would not care much to notice the difference as it of statistic for both charges for methods are different.
