Google Chrome now has 750 million active users

Google launched Chrome in 2008 and since then, as Google happily mentioned in the today’s keynote, it has become the most popular web browser in the world. It is also now, as Pichai mentioned early on in the keynote, a very important system for Google that appears side-by-side with Android operating system.

At when, Google says there are now 750 million monthly active users for the Chrome browser, including that 300 million new users have started using Chrome just in the last 12 months. The presentation did not break down just how many of those Chrome users were on mobile devices, with the company stating only that the mobile use is “growing.”
