Warid Telecom celebrates its 8th anniversary
Beginning its functions in Pakistan in 2005 after succeeding the GSM license from the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) by spending $291 million, Warid Telecommunications is enjoying its 8th year of operation in the country.
As a part of interesting its clients that provided the telecom operator its business, Warid has started a marketing strategy. As promoted on their official Facebook page, the cellular mobile operator is asking its clients to discuss their Warid story and get a opportunity to win a smartphone from the organization.
The organization has designed a Facebook app, which they have placed in the tab on their page, to allow clients to publish their experiences. Stories can be posted as simple text or in the form of a video as well.
The selection or winning requirements is not yet resolved on the site but it seems more like a fortunate award than a competitors.
Official Warid is also tagging the clients who distributed their story on their Twitter profile.
