Nokia decided to discontinue Shipping Symbian Phones After this Summer

Nokia has new declared that it will stop shipping Symbian phones after this summer, The mobile phone giant will only be producing smartphones with Microsoft Windows Phone OS.

Nokia described the reason behind to dropped the ax Symbian OS so soon was its long development time of Symbian devices. The company mentioned that it took about 22 months to bring Symbian phone into the market while it took less than a year to bring out a Windows Phone device.

Symbian OS has been discontinued by its old associates and Japanese carriers providers who reinforced Symbian OS have shifted on to other os cell phones.

Symbian OS has been abandoned by its old partners and Japanese carriers who supported Symbian OS have moved on to other operating system mobiles.

According to the last quotes, only 0.5 million Symbian were marketed in comparison to 5.6 million Lumia and 5 million Asha After the removing of the OS, Nokia has got only one way to go: Windows phones. Even if that is not able then all is not over as the company has been suggesting Android-running device, saying that the gates are not absolutely being shut on them.
