Introduction of much awaited 3G broadband services for mobile users in future will raise economic output of Pakistan by 1.1 percent of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) resulting in increase of 1.6 to 2.4 percent in employment. World Bank studies indicate that 10 percentage point increase in high-speed internet connections boosts annual GDP growth by 1.38 percentage point.
The scientific research has established the link of better connection and GDP development. According to formal data, these scientific connections when used to Pakistan state that with introduction of 3G Broadband Spectrum the transmission will improve by 8% and will result in improve of financial outcome similar to 1.104% of GDP and will also go along with 1.6 to 2.4% improve in career.
As our broadband installed base is less than 2%, a focused approach towards investment in high-performance broadband internet connection will considerably convert the economic system.
