Advertisement for appointing chairman PTA likely in September

Supreme Court orders government to return Rs. 62 billion back to USFPreviously in July it was considered that appointment of the Chairman of Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and rest of the two associates will not be possible by the end of this season due to a case registered at Lahore High Court that pushed the ad requirements.

LHC had set Oct 2nd as next date of hearing to and instructed that a new marketing must be released after the result of this situation. But Supreme Court of Pakistan has now directed the Lahore High Court to decide the case within seven days so that the process of appointment could be started as soon as possible.

Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary while hearing to a situation on 3G shown frustration over its delay in Pakistan.
