According to the review executed by the Express Tribune on Facebook regarding the services of Viber, social web page, many individuals from different areas of Pakistan exposed that services are not available on their Mobile phones. More than 200 individuals from different places and areas of Pakistan verified about the unavailability of the services .
A subscriber confirmed :-
“We are unable to make voice calls through Viber whereas texting is still working”.
Earlier, Sindh govt had declared to block Skype, Viber and Whatsapp in the region due to the security scenarios and later the concept was recommended by DG Ranger Sindh as well. For this purpose, Sindh Government has already asked for the involved regulators to put a ban on short-term notice.On the other side, PTA has reacted that no such directives have been released yet by the regulating whole body for preventing Viber.
