BlackBerry has declared that BlackBerry Messenger will be launched today for Android and iOS. The company initially organized to launch its messaging app delayed last 30 days, but those programs were suddenly forced back when an early edition of the Android app openly launched ahead of schedule. The company says that “about 1 million” Android clients were using the unreleased version of BBM for Android, and BlackBerry is also declaring that more than 1 million iOS clients handled to “side load” the app onto iPhone.
The Company says:-
“In the next few hours, people will start seeing BBM in Google Play, the App Store and in select Samsung App Stores.”
But unfortunately this indicates that BlackBerry is still very much involved about an preliminary increase of clients. It’s registration wait list; upon starting the app, you’ll have to enter the current e-mail address to reserve your spot. Anyone that finalized up for information about the cellular phone applications at BBM.com won’t have to delay, but new signups will have to deal with the exclusive queue. Despite being disliked by clients, the wait list has become an well-known technique among start-ups. Still, it attacks us as odd to see BlackBerry using the technique.
Blackberry says:-
“We are focused on moving millions of customers through the line as fast as possible.”
The company will be providing updates on “how quickly the line is moving” via its Twitter account. BlackBerry first announced that its BBM client would be going multi-platform in May.
Update: BlackBerry has declared that the BBM app is now available for download from the iTunes App Store and Google Play.
