The roads, lanes and streets look like rivulets, and the entire city magically converted into Venice. The street wears a deserted look. I rarely can find anyone on the road as it was drizzling since morning. Am forced by the Nature to step outside and grabbed my coat to shield myself.
The rain dusts my face with tiny pearls. The drops are mystical; they wash through the branches that grasp for the galaxy, and then melt into the damp earth. The rain hurled down upon me with a ghoulish whine to pierce my cheeks. The winds wailed: “Wake up Tania! Say hello to Mother Nature” Aah, such a fascinating moment it was!
After half an hour it began to rain in torrents. I find myself a shelter where I heard the sound of the rain hitting the first set of leaves on the ever encroaching mighty oaks, then dripping down through the canopy, soaking the moss covered trunks and branches, finally hitting the shrubs and saturated ground below giving the entire scene a marvelously composed, orchestral soundtrack. Loud thunder still continued, with flashes of lightening from time to time. The sky was covered with black clouds as far as the eyes could see.
As the rain let up a little, I saw a man trying to slog his way. His clothes were tucked up, holding the umbrella in one hand and a bag in the other. A sudden gush of wind tilts his umbrella and he gets drenched. A few minutes passed and he turned into a pitiable creature because the car has passed speedily by splashing muddy water on him.
By the time I decided to move further, it stopped showering. The cold air stung me like a quick slap in my face and I hugged my body tightly. I passed by the garden and its beauty which refreshed my mind and soul. A soft, pleasant breeze was blowing. All the trees and plants that had been just washed appeared very beautiful and pleasant. The natural beauty of the flowers appeared more charming still. A soft pleasant smell pervaded every place. The clouds had nearby cleared by now and a beautiful rainbow had appeared in the sky. My heart leapt up with joy to behold its beauty. A soft re-light appeared in the sky.
It was birds chirping which kept me engaged in listening them and the scenery was blocking my view as it was soothing my eyes and the smell freshly fallen rain. I was totally in the clutches of Mother Nature that I forgot the time that I’ve to come back home as well.
I believe that “The best part of the beauty is indescribable” it’s just giving you an opportunity to jot down your thoughts. For me rain is like, a voice of nightingale which tends me to leave all the unpleasant memories behind. As it brings the message of revitalizing me and being the entrepreneur it’s the Nature which “inspires me” to work harder and move further!
