The political chaos in the country has enhanced me to express my views as a citizen of this country in a blatant manner. Like every other ‘Pakistani’ I am traumatized and jeopardized by this lunatic circus which has left the state of Pakistan paralyzed.
Mean while on the other side. Flood has hit Kashmir and parts of Punjab in which 150 + people have died. 700 villages have been washed away. Over 16,000 people have rendered homeless. Then there are IDP’s. At this time when our nation should be united to help these people. We are still twisted in protests.
A Storm of questions come in our mind. Is it a conspiracy of some People within the establishment or some other organization? Or they are genuinely here for innocent people’s hopelessness. Either way their mechanism cannot be vindicated.
Canadian national Tahir ul Qadri and our own Captain Imran khan claim to have come here for ‘real democracy’ with a mob. The parliament and the judiciary are all on one side to save the ‘fake’ democracy as these two suggest.
History is being made in Pakistan. All political parties are standing together despite all their differences for the sake of democracy. The army has shown great restraint this fills me up with great optimism about Pakistan’s future with democracy.
The Lahore tragedy was painstaking. It was shameful. Every human life is important. F.I.R should have been registered long time back as it’s a basic right of every citizen. Imran khan kept cringing about rigging but the government dint pay attention till he decided to go on the streets.
These are big blunders and there are huge flaws. Government is too responsible for all this. There is poverty in the country, we have problems. But it will take decades and a strong democratic system to improve.
Firstly let me clear. Our constitution is ideal, the democratic system is consummate. I admit it’s dysfunctional in our society but it’s our responsibility to make it better. Secondly it’s fair to state that mixing bad governance with democracy makes you a dimwit.
The important question that raises here is, how can we make this system better? I will try answering this precisely. First of all let’s have a judicial commission and investigate about rigging in election 2013. Whoever is involved in it, ban them for taking part in elections forever.
And next time when you go to vote make the right choice. We all are part of this corrupt system. We vote for these People and then cringe about being governed by looters. If you genuinely want Pakistan’s betterment first try being law abiding citizenship
You cannot talk about constitution and democracy by unconstitutional and undemocratic demands. The trend that they want to set is horrific. Anyone who can gather a mob of 10 k people can ask Prime minister of Pakistan to resign?
Supposedly even if Qadri and Imran’s demands are fundamentally correct. Most of their demands are still idealistic and that’s not what our country requires it needs pragmatism.
A historic parliament session took place. In which PTI’s MNA attended the session and Shah Mehmood Qureshi even made a speech. That’s what democracy is all about. It teaches us patience and tolerance.
Another session followed by it was dominated by the spat between Aitzaz Ahsan and Ch. Nisar. Followed by this the Chinese president’s visit is delayed. Aitzaz is a heroic personality. Ch Nisar a wise Politician. Imran khan is an inspirational leader for youth of this country. Surely their egos can’t be bigger than the state.
The moment we get out of this crisis it won’t be a victory for Nawaz sharif or Imran khan, Tahir ul Qadri. It will be the victory of Pakistan and its democratic future. Pakistan Zindabad.
