Pakistan Post services on line through CSS

All the financial services of Pakistan Post will be launched on line through Centralized Software Solution (CSS). This was stated by Director General Pakistan Post Syed Ghulam Panjtan Rizvi. He said that Western Union Money transfers will be increased, adding that an hardware has been obtained for the purpose.He said pension benefit certificates and “Behbood” certificates of the National Savings will also be sold through the post offices.
He said that an agreement is being executed with National Savings Directorate for sale of National Saving Certificates at Postal Counters. Ghulam Panjtan Rizvi said that new call centers have also been opened for facilitation of the customers in Multan, Rawalpindi and Peshawar.
He said that over one hundred General Post Offices (GPOs) including
renovated post offices through out the country have already been provided with counter computerization facility.
He said that this number will be further increased in a phased manner. “Computer cell actively engaged in expansion of computerization of postal services” he added.
He said that BISP, Military Pension Payment System and Saving Bank will be shortly implemented in Centralized Software Solution platform.
