Reuters leaked another story on a possible sellout of Warid which is once again mentioning Etisalat as one of the most interested bidders.
As per latest update, Etisalat has hired Goldman Sachs Group Inc to advice on its planned bidding for Warid.
Warid on the other hand has already having assistance from Standard Chartered and Lazard as reported earlier by Reuter.
Abu Dhabi Group telecom is eyeing some $ 1 billion as a result of selling Warid but telecom analysts are of the view that someone at Etisalat or Dhabi Group has been leaking news in the international media according to a set plan.
From the series of news, it appears more likely that Etisalat would finally take over Warid but the reports are that China Mobile and Mobilink are also equally interested in the deal.
