Quetta have First Snowfall of the Winter

QUETTA: On Saturday received first snowfall of the winter months season that sent the mercury moving down to – 7 °c and the resulting cold surf attaining Karachi also instantly took the city in its hold, as the heat range went down to 8.7 °  C.

Meteorological Department has prediction more snowfall for Quetta and its adjacent places in the next 24 time.

Gilgit Baltistan also seeing cooled climate after getting mild rainfall on the mountains, while the sky continues to be cloudy. Several places of Punjab and Sindh such as Multan, Muzaffargarh, Gujranawala and Sargodha remained blanketed by fogs even today.

The requirement for gas cylinders and wood that people usually use for maintaining them heated in the chill weather has taken up taking the costs beyond their achieve resulting in much tremendous comfort to the inadequate people living in the mountains and valleys.
