Sony smartphones can be the new users of WP in 2014

sonySONY is considering to launch its new Sony smartphones  powered by Microsoft’s Windows Phone (WP) this year.

Microsoft is wanting to demonstrate some increase in the use of its mobile OS as it is seriously dropping behind Google’s Android. Sony opinions to release a WP powered phone by mid of 2014 for its Vaio product line. Vaio range of products are run for quite long on Microsoft’s Windows and it would be nothing new to improve the mobile edition of the product on the same company’s mobile OS. With Sony moving to WP and Samsung being provided $ 1 Billion for using it, Microsoft can give problems to Google in competition to obtain more customers of mobile operating-system.

But there is one part of Android that is going to make it hard for Microsoft company to take down the popular OS and it is the fact that Android is provided without charge by Google while there is a license fee for using WP on a smart phone. In case, Microsoft begins decreasing the price for license of WP, then it can seriously challenge the 81 % market share by Android . Before, Sony used WP in its smartphones, it was for Sony Ericson Xperia X1 and X2.
