Samsung and Apple Slide Down in Smartphone Marketshare, Lenovo Emerges

According to the new review by International Data Corporation (IDC), Samsung and Apple are currently the top producers in the smart phone structure right now, as before, but their cause has slid down especially in the last one fourth.smartphones1 Samsung and Apple Slide Down in Smartphone Marketshare, Lenovo Emerges

Compared to same quarter of 2012, where both the manufacturers sold 32.2% and 16.6% of the smartphones worldwide, they topped out at only 30.4% and 13.1% this time around.Sales improved though, obviously, leading out at 72.4 and 31.2 million models respectively, in comparison to 50.3 and 26 million of the year before.

HTC and Huawei decreased out from the top 5 manufacturers’ record completely while Lenovo was a shock access in the record. The China company marketed 11.3 thousand models and accomplished a marketshare of 4.7%, surprisingly near to LG, which maintains a marketshare of 5.1%.

Apple’s dropping sales were not surprising, especially since a new leak of the so-called “budget iPhone” comes out almost daily but in Samsung’s situation, it does look awkward, curiously coming after the launch of the numerous versions of its Galaxy S4 flagship. The overall mobile phones sales were 237.9 million models. The situation for Nokia should not be different from Apple , since this was enough period of time when it released its Lumia 1020 flagship.
