Bill Gates admits Control-Alt-Delete was a mistake

Microsoft founder Mr.Bill Gates has admitted that forcing the windows users to press the Ctrl-Alt-Delete combination of keys to login to a computer was a mistake. At  Harvard fundraising campaign, In an interview Mr.Gates discussed his old days building Microsoft, Windows and all the important Ctrl-Alt-Delete decision. If you ever used old version of the Windows while working then you have experienced that odd requirement.

He explained that key combination is designed to prevent other application from faking stealing a password and the login prompt.

“It was a mistake,”

Mr.Gates admited to the audience , laughing at his this honesty.

“We could have had a single button, but the guy who did the IBM keyboard design didn’t wanna give us our single button.”
