Easy Method to Access Facebook on PTCL & Ufone Internet

Many PTCL & Ufone users complaining on Facebook and twitter  that they cannot access to Facebook via direct Facebook link or Android/iOS/Windows Cellphone applications. The real purpose behind this issue is still unidentified, but it has something to do with PTCL’s DNS.

Our team find out very easy method repair this problem, all internet connect use GoogleDNS or OpenDNS. Here is method you can change DNS on you PC or Cell Phones.

Method :

The first method is quite easy, you are going to modify DNS in the PTCL  router configurations. We expect that you are using the wireless router offered by PTCL.

  • Go to the admin panel of your router, usually it can be accessed via, http://192.168.1.1 with username and password admin.

  • There is a navigation menu appear on screen

  • From left side of screen, Select DNS.

  • In the DNS settings page, uncheck the Enable Automatic Assigned DNS.

  • Now you got two new text boxes appear on screen
  • Enter these DNS there, 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 OR 208.67.222.22 and 208.67.220.220
  • Click save and reboot the router, next time you won’t face any trouble opening Facebook on any of your devices.
