The 6th annual Golden Kela Awards will be held on March 29. The purpose behind such award ceremony is to honor the best of worst in Hindi cinema. The winners are selected by online audience poll.
Dhoom3, Chennai Express, Besharam, Himmatwala and Krrish 3 are nominated for Worst movie of the year Award.
Deepika Padukone, who has won best actress awards for her performance in Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ramleela in nearly every award ceremony, is nominated for worst actress for her role in Chennai Express. Other actresses who would compete Deepika for this award are Sonam Kapoor for Ranjhana, Shraddha Kapoor for Aashiqui 2, Pallavi Sharda for Besharam and Sonakshi Sinha for R… Rajkumar.
For worst actor award, Ranveer Singh for Goliyon ki Raasleela Ram Leela, Imran Khan for Gori Tere Pyar Mein, Aditya Roy Kapoor for Aashiqui 2 and Arjun Kapoor for Aurangzeb have been nominated.
Nominees for the worst director include Sanjay Leela Bhansali for Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela, Rohit Shetty for Chennai Express, Prabhu Deva for R… Rajkumar, and Rakesh Roshan for Krrish 3. A trophy in shape of Banana is handed over to the winner of these awards.
